GIMP 2.4.0 Released

GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is free distributed software which can perform photo retouching, image composition, and image authoring. It can be run in Windows, Linux, and Mac.

The GIMP team has release GIMP 2.4.0 at 24 October. There are a few improvements compare to previous version:

1. They improve the overall look of GIMP. They had create a whole new default icon look and users are able to change the icons by using alternative icon theme.

2. Selection tools. Now, the selection area is allow to be resized.

3. Improved display when zooming in and out.

4. More file formats supported.

      Very nice blog you have here. I haven’t used gimp for ages, since my Linux days. Maybe I’ll give it a try but this time only under Windows.
